About This Role
Jecrc University invites applications for the position of Associate Professor in Human Rights Law. This full-time role requires a Ph.D. in Human Rights Law or a closely related field from a recognized university. Applicants should have at least three years of teaching or research experience in Human Rights Law at the university level.

What You Will Do
Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Human Rights Law, ensuring alignment with UGC norms and contemporary legal developments. Guide students in research projects, moot court competitions, and internships to build practical expertise. Participate in curriculum development, peer reviews, and academic administration to strengthen the law program.
Conduct and publish research in Human Rights Law, contributing to Jecrc University’s academic reputation. Supervise Ph.D. scholars and mentor junior faculty to build a strong research culture. Collaborate with legal practitioners, NGOs, and government agencies for field-based learning opportunities.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must possess a Ph.D. in Human Rights Law, International Law, or Constitutional Law from a recognized university. A minimum of three years of teaching or research experience in Human Rights Law is required. Preference will be given to candidates with publications in peer-reviewed journals and experience in legal advocacy.
Industry or NGO experience in human rights work is an added advantage. Familiarity with international human rights instruments and domestic legal frameworks is essential. Knowledge of digital pedagogy and online teaching tools will be beneficial.
