Day-to-Day Duties
As an ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR in Intellectual Property Rights, you will be responsible for:
- Teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses in intellectual property rights, including patent law, copyright law, and trademark law.
- Conducting research and publishing papers in top-tier journals in the field of intellectual property rights.
- Supervising Ph.D. students in the department and guiding them in their research projects.
- Collaborating with faculty members to develop new research projects and securing funding from government and private agencies.
- Evaluating student performance and providing feedback to improve their research skills.
- Participating in departmental and university-level committees to develop and implement academic policies.
- Representing the university at national and international conferences to promote its research initiatives.
- Developing and implementing new courses and programmes in intellectual property rights.
- Collaborating with industry partners to provide consultancy services and training programmes.
Who Can Apply
The ideal candidate should have:
- A Ph.D. in Law or a related field with a specialization in intellectual property rights.
- Post-doctoral experience in a renowned institution or research centre.
- UGC-NET with Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) or a valid UGC-NET score.
- Excellent research and teaching skills with a proven track record of publications in top-tier journals.
