About This Role
Jecrc University invites applications for the position of ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, to teach and conduct research in Mobile Computing. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the academic growth and development of the university.
Key Responsibilities
1. Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Mobile Computing, including Mobile Apps, Mobile Systems, and Wireless Networks.
2. Develop and deliver course materials, including syllabi, lecture notes, and assignments.
3. Conduct tutorials, practical classes, and project guidance for undergraduate and postgraduate students.
4. Evaluate student performance and provide feedback.
5. Contribute to the development of new courses and programs in Mobile Computing.
6. Conduct research and publish papers in peer-reviewed journals.
7. Supervise postgraduate students and guide them in their projects and theses.
8. Participate in departmental and university-level committees.
Postgraduate Students
As an ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR in Jecrc University, you will be responsible for guiding postgraduate students in their master level courses and research projects. You will mentor students in their research work, provide guidance on project conceptualization, methodology, and implementation, and help them in the preparation of their theses and dissertations.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must have a PhD in Computer Science and Engineering or a related field with a minimum of 55% marks. Those who have not completed their PhD must have a valid UGC-NET/SLET qualification. A strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals is essential.
