Key Responsibilities
As an ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR - Power Electronics, you will be responsible for:
- Teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Power Electronics, including designing and delivering courses, assessing student performance, and mentoring students.
- Conducting research in Power Electronics, including developing and executing research projects, publishing papers in reputable journals, and presenting research findings at conferences.
- Supervising Ph.D. students and guiding them in their research work, including thesis evaluation and mentoring.
- Participating in academic and administrative activities within the School of Engineering and the university.
- Collaborating with faculty members from other departments to develop interdisciplinary research projects and courses.
- Developing and maintaining links with industry and other research institutions to facilitate collaborative research and academic exchange programs.
- Engaging in curriculum planning and development, including designing new courses and revising existing ones.
- Participating in departmental and university-level committees to contribute to policy-making and decision-making processes.

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the position of ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR - Power Electronics, you must possess:
- A Ph.D. in Power Electronics or a related field from a recognized university.
- A postdoctoral research experience (preferably) in a reputable institution.
- UGC-NET (with JRF) qualification or a similar national-level eligibility test.
- A strong research background, including publications in reputable journals and conferences.
- Teaching experience at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Research & Publications
As an ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR - Power Electronics, you will be expected to:
- Develop and execute research projects in Power Electronics, including collaborative projects with industry and other research institutions.
- Publish papers in reputable international journals and conferences.
- Present research findings at national and international conferences.
- Develop and supervise research projects, including Ph.D. and postgraduate research.

Research Leadership
As an ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR - Power Electronics, you will be responsible for:
- Guiding doctoral students in their research work, including thesis evaluation and mentoring.
- Evaluating theses and dissertations submitted by Ph.D. and postgraduate students.
- Participating in research funding proposals, including identifying funding opportunities and developing proposal documents.
- Collaborating with other faculty members to develop research funding proposals.
