About This Role
As an ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR in the Print Journalism department at Jecrc University, you will play a key role in shaping the next generation of media professionals. You will teach undergraduate and postgraduate students the art and science of print journalism, guiding them through the latest trends, technologies, and best practices.

Day-to-Day Duties
Your responsibilities as an ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR will include:
* Teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Print Journalism, including print media history, journalism ethics, and news writing and editing
* Advising students on academic and career-related matters, including internships and research projects
* Participating in academic administration, including curriculum development, program evaluation, and faculty governance
* Collaborating with colleagues across the university to develop new programs and initiatives
* Engaging in research and publication in the field of Print Journalism
* Participating in departmental and university-wide events, including conferences, workshops, and seminars
* Mentoring junior faculty members and PhD students
* Engaging with industry partners and professionals to stay updated on the latest developments in Print Journalism
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for this position, you must have a PhD from a recognized university in the field of Print Journalism or a related field. Industry experience in print media is preferred but not required. You must also demonstrate a strong commitment to teaching and research, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
