The successful candidate will be expected to teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Software Engineering, conduct research, and guide students in their projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Software Engineering, such as Software Design, Software Testing, and Agile Methodologies.
- Teach and mentor students in their projects, helping them to develop practical skills in software development and testing.
- Conduct research in the area of Software Engineering and publish papers in peer-reviewed journals.
- Participate in curriculum development and assessment processes.
- Supervise and guide M.Tech and Ph.D. students in their research work.
- Participate in departmental and University-level activities, such as seminars, workshops, and conferences.
- Collaborate with other faculty members to develop and implement new courses and programs in Software Engineering.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and developments in Software Engineering and integrate them into the teaching and research activities.
Master Level Teaching
- Teach master level courses in Software Engineering, such as Advanced Software Design, Software Architecture, and Software Maintenance.
- Guide M.Tech and Ph.D. students in their research work, helping them to develop their research skills and produce high-quality research papers.
- Collaborate with other faculty members to develop and implement new courses and programs in Software Engineering.
Who Can Apply
- Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering or a related area with a minimum of 55% marks.
- UGC-NET/SLET qualification or Ph.D. with a minimum of 55% marks in the qualifying examination.
- Publications in peer-reviewed journals and conferences.
- Experience in teaching and research in Software Engineering.
