Jayshree Periwal International Pre School | Malviya Nagar invites a passionate and experienced PGT History Teacher to join their esteemed faculty. This role focuses on delivering engaging history lessons tailored for young learners while aligning with the school’s commitment to fostering critical thinking and cultural understanding. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in shaping students’ appreciation for India’s rich heritage and global historical narratives.
Daily Responsibilities
Plan and conduct interactive history lessons, ensuring age-appropriate content delivery. Prepare engaging visual aids, maps, and timelines to enhance student engagement. Monitor student progress and provide timely feedback on assignments and discussions. Collaborate with the classroom assistant to ensure smooth classroom management and student participation.
Regular Responsibilities Across the Academic Cycle
Develop and update lesson plans based on the latest curriculum guidelines for history. Organize field trips or guest speaker sessions to bring history to life for students. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and participation in history-related activities. Participate in school-wide events, such as cultural fairs or history-themed competitions, to promote subject interest.
Periodic Responsibilities
Assist in organizing history-related workshops or seminars for teachers and students. Review and recommend textbooks, digital resources, or supplementary materials for history teaching. Collaborate with the principal or subject coordinators to address curriculum enhancements or student learning gaps.
Qualification and Experience
Hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree with a postgraduate qualification in History or a related field. Possess at least four years of teaching experience, preferably in a school environment. Experience in teaching students from Class 6 to 12 is highly preferred. Familiarity with Rajasthan’s educational board syllabus and assessment patterns is a plus.
Salary and Location
