Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced PGT History Teacher to join our team of dedicated educators who share a passion for making history come alive in the classroom. As a PGT History Teacher at St.sai Nath Acadmey, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds of our students and helping them develop a deep understanding of the subject.
Day-to-Day Duties
- Plan and deliver engaging History lessons to students from classes VI to XII
- Prepare and administer assessments, exams, and assignments to evaluate student progress
- Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to cater to diverse learning styles
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and assessment results
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive and supportive learning environment
- Develop and revise curriculum to meet the changing needs of students and the school
- Participate in staff development programs to enhance teaching skills and knowledge
- Contribute to school events, exhibitions, and competitions to promote History awareness
- Perform administrative tasks as assigned by the school administration
Required Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must possess a post-graduate degree in History with a minimum of 3 years of teaching experience. A B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. degree is required for this position. Preference will be given to candidates with a Teaching Eligibility Test (TET) or Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) certification.
