- Participate in academic and administrative matters of the university.
- Represent the department in various university committees and forums.
- Collaborate with faculty members from other departments to develop interdisciplinary courses.
- Participate in faculty development programs and workshops to enhance teaching skills.
Master Level Teaching
The PROFESSOR will be responsible for teaching master level courses in Applied Chemistry, such as Advanced Organic Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, and Instrumental Analysis. The candidate will also guide students in their research projects, providing them with necessary guidance and support.
Who Can Apply
Ph.D. in Applied Chemistry or a related field with a minimum of 55% marks is mandatory. NET/SLET qualified candidates who do not have a Ph.D. can also apply. Preference will be given to candidates with publications in peer-reviewed journals.
Learning and Development
The university follows the API score system for promotion and career advancement. The PROFESSOR will be required to maintain a high API score to be eligible for promotion. The university also provides opportunities for professional development and growth.
Salary and Benefits
The selected candidate will receive a salary of Rs.60,000 - Rs.89,000 per month, along with allowances as per UGC norms. The university also provides other benefits, such as medical insurance, leave travel allowance, and other perks.
