Engage in high-impact research in Contract Law, publishing in UGC-recognized journals and contributing to edited volumes. Focus areas may include consumer protection in digital contracts, force majeure clauses in emerging markets, or arbitration-friendly contract drafting strategies.
Supervise LLM dissertations and guide PhD candidates in their doctoral research. Encourage interdisciplinary approaches by integrating insights from economics, technology, and behavioral studies into traditional contract law analysis.
Develop and deliver workshops for practicing lawyers and corporate legal teams across Jaipur and nearby regions. These sessions will bridge theory and practice, aligning Jecrc University’s academic rigor with industry needs.
Collaborate with the Centre for Legal Innovation at Jecrc University to design certificate programs in Contract Drafting and Negotiation. These programs will serve professionals seeking upskilling in compliance and transactional law.
Participate in national and international conferences, representing Jecrc University’s growing reputation in contract law scholarship. Present findings on emerging trends such as smart contracts and regulatory sandboxes.
Lead or co-lead funded research projects in contract law, particularly those aligned with government or industry priorities in Rajasthan. Prepare proposals for funding from ICSSR, UGC, or corporate partners.
Serve on academic committees, including the Board of Studies and Research Advisory Council, shaping the future direction of law education at Jecrc University.
Mentor junior faculty members and contribute to peer review processes within the university and in professional associations.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must hold a PhD in Law with a specialization in Contract Law or a closely related field. A minimum of five years of full-time teaching experience at the postgraduate level in a recognized university is required.
Preference will be given to candidates with post-doctoral research experience or significant industry exposure in contract drafting and negotiation. Experience in consultancy for government agencies or multinational corporations in India will be viewed favorably.
Candidates without a PhD must possess UGC-NET with JRF or equivalent qualifications such as SLET/SET in Law. However, PhD remains mandatory for the Professor position as per UGC norms.
A strong record of publications in peer-reviewed journals indexed in Scopus, Web of Science, or UGC-CARE lists is essential. Books and chapters in reputed academic publishers will be an added advantage.
