About This Role
Jecrc University, a renowned university in Jaipur, Rajasthan, invites applications for the post of PROFESSOR in the Department of Law. The successful candidate will be expected to teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Cyber Law. The selected PROFESSOR will also be responsible for guiding research projects and supervising students.
Day-to-Day Duties
- Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Cyber Law, including Cybercrime, Cybersecurity, and E-Commerce Law.
- Develop and deliver curriculum for master level courses in Cyber Law.
- Guide research projects and supervise students for their dissertation.
- Conduct seminars, workshops, and conferences on Cyber Law topics.
- Publish research papers in peer-reviewed journals and participate in academic activities.
- Contribute to the development of the Department of Law and the university.
- Mentor students and colleagues in the department.
- Participate in institutional activities, such as admissions, examinations, and events.
Master Level Teaching
- Develop and deliver master level courses in Cyber Law, such as Cyber Law and Governance, Cybersecurity Law, and E-Commerce Law.
- Guide students for their project work and dissertation.
- Provide feedback and guidance to students on their research and academic work.
- Conduct viva-voce exams for master level students.
Required Qualifications
- PhD in Law with a minimum of 55% marks.
- UGC-NET/UGC-SLET qualification or equivalent.
- Strong research background and publication record in peer-reviewed journals.
- At least 5 years of teaching experience in a university or college.
- Teaching experience in Cyber Law or a related field is preferred.
- Proven track record of academic and research publications.
Career Opportunities
- The selected PROFESSOR will be eligible for promotion to the post of Professor or Director, subject to the API score requirements and university regulations.

Salary and Benefits
- Salary: Rs.65,000 - Rs.90,000 per month.
