Role Summary
Jecrc University seeks an accomplished PROFESSOR to lead the Department of Data Mining. The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of data science education in Jaipur, Rajasthan.
What You Will Do
- Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Data Mining to students of Jecrc University.
- Develop and implement curriculum for B.Tech in Data Science and M.Tech in Data Mining.
- Conduct seminars, workshops, and conferences on Data Mining to promote interdisciplinary research and collaboration.
- Guide research projects for master's and Ph.D. students in Data Mining.
- Collaborate with faculty members from other departments to integrate Data Mining with other disciplines.
- Participate in academic and administrative activities of the university.
- Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate projects, and provide guidance to students.
- Develop and maintain relationships with industry partners and alumni to promote industry-academia collaborations.
- Engage in teaching, research, and community outreach activities to promote Data Mining in Rajasthan.
PG Class Profile
- Teach master level courses in Data Mining, Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence.
- Guide M.Tech students in their research projects, and provide mentorship for their academic growth.
- Collaborate with faculty members to develop and implement new courses in Data Mining and related areas.
Required Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field with at least 55% marks.
- Net/SLET qualification is mandatory for Assistant Professor positions; however, candidates with Ph.D. will be preferred for Professor positions.
- Strong research background with publications in peer-reviewed journals and conference proceedings.
- Teaching experience in Data Mining or related areas, preferably with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
