Job Overview
As a PROFESSOR of Environmental Law at Jecrc University, you will be part of a dynamic team of academics who are passionate about teaching, research, and community engagement. Your primary responsibility will be to teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Environmental Law, and to conduct research that contributes to the field of law and the environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Environmental Law, including core courses, electives, and research projects
- Advise students on academic and career-related matters, including research projects, internships, and job placements
- Participate in academic administration, including curriculum development, course evaluation, and departmental committee work
- Conduct research in Environmental Law, including publishing papers in international journals, presenting at conferences, and securing research grants
- Supervise research projects and thesis of postgraduate students
- Participate in faculty meetings, departmental meetings, and university committees
- Stay up-to-date with developments in the field of Environmental Law, including new legislation, policies, and case laws
- Collaborate with colleagues from other departments, including law, science, and engineering, to develop interdisciplinary courses and research projects
Required Qualifications
Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Environmental Law or a related field from a recognized university. Industry experience is preferred, but not essential. Jecrc University follows UGC norms for faculty appointments, and applicants must meet the UGC guidelines for NET/SLET/Ph.D. qualifications.
