Role Summary

Key Responsibilities
- Teach and mentor undergraduate and postgraduate students in Information Security courses, including curriculum development and academic planning.
- Conduct research and publish papers in top-tier journals and conferences, with a focus on Information Security, Cybersecurity, and Data Protection.
- Supervise Ph.D. students and guide them in their research projects, providing academic support and evaluation.
- Develop and manage collaborative projects with industry partners, government organizations, and other academic institutions.
- Contribute to the development of academic programs, policies, and procedures in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering.
- Participate in departmental, faculty, and university-level committees, contributing to governance and decision-making processes.
- Engage in professional development activities, staying updated on the latest trends and advancements in Information Security.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement research grants, funding proposals, and other funding opportunities.
- Represent Jecrc University at national and international conferences, workshops, and seminars, promoting the institution's research reputation.

Required Qualifications
A Ph.D. in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is mandatory for the position of Professor. A post-doctoral research experience will be preferred. UGC-NET with JRF is also expected for Assistant Professor positions. What You Get
