Role Summary

Day-to-Day Duties
Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Intellectual Property Rights, including patent drafting and IP management. Conduct tutorials and practical sessions on case laws and statutory provisions. Develop curriculum modules aligned with UGC guidelines and industry needs.
Prepare and deliver lectures on emerging trends in IPR, such as digital piracy and biotechnology patents. Organize moot court sessions to enhance practical understanding. Assess student performance through assignments, viva voce, and project evaluations.
Postgraduate Students
Guide master’s level students in research projects related to IPR enforcement and policy frameworks. Supervise dissertations on contemporary issues like AI-generated content and traditional knowledge protection. Facilitate interactions with industry experts for real-world insights.
Who Can Apply
Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in Law or a related discipline with at least 55% marks. NET/SLET qualification is required if Ph.D. is not completed. Minimum five years of teaching or research experience in IPR is mandatory.
Publications in peer-reviewed journals on IPR topics are essential. Contributions to national and international conferences will be preferred. Familiarity with WIPO and TRIPS agreements is desirable.
