About This Role
Jecrc University invites applications for the position of Professor - Internet Of Things in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and research in the field of Internet of Things (IoT) at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background in IoT and a proven track record of teaching and research.
Key Responsibilities
1. Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in IoT, including theory and practical sessions.
2. Develop and implement new courses in IoT, as per the needs of the department.
3. Guide research projects and supervise students for their Master's and Doctoral degrees.
4. Publish research papers in peer-reviewed international journals and conferences.
5. Participate in departmental and university-level committees as required.
6. Coordinate with industry partners for collaborative research and projects.
7. Develop and maintain industry partnerships for internships and placements.
8. Stay updated with the latest trends and developments in IoT.
Master Level Teaching
The Professor - Internet Of Things will be responsible for teaching master level courses in IoT, including IoT fundamentals, IoT architecture, IoT security, and IoT applications. The professor will also guide students for their research projects and supervise their dissertations. The professor will also be responsible for developing and implementing new courses in IoT, as per the needs of the department.
Required Qualifications
A Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering with a minimum of 55% marks is mandatory. The candidate should have a strong academic background in IoT and a proven track record of teaching and research. The candidate should also have a good understanding of UGC regulations and state government rules. The candidate should have a good command over English language and communication skills. The candidate should also have a good understanding of the latest trends and developments in IoT.
