What You Will Do

Evaluate student performance through rigorous assessments and provide constructive feedback for academic growth.
Prepare and update course materials, including lecture notes, reading lists, and digital resources aligned with UGC and Bar Council standards. Organize guest lectures, seminars, and workshops featuring legal practitioners and labour law experts from Jaipur and across Rajasthan. Supervise student projects and dissertations in areas such as industrial disputes, wage laws, and occupational safety regulations.
Facilitate internships and field visits with local industries and labour departments to provide real-world exposure. Engage in collaborative research with faculty across departments, including business law, human resources, and public policy. Represent Jecrc University at national and state-level legal conferences and academic forums.
Master Level Teaching
At the master’s level, lead advanced Labour Law courses such as International Labour Standards, Collective Bargaining, and Labour Law in the Digital Economy. Guide LLM students in choosing research topics and developing publishable dissertations in emerging areas like gig economy regulation and workplace diversity laws.
Encourage interdisciplinary research linking labour law with economics, management, and social sciences. Offer specialized electives based on current legislative amendments and judicial pronouncements. Mentor students preparing for competitive exams like UGC-NET and state judicial services.
Who Can Apply
Applicants must hold a PhD in Law with a minimum of 55% marks from a recognized university, preferably in Labour Law or Industrial Relations. Candidates with NET/SLET qualification are preferred if PhD is not yet completed. A minimum of five years of full-time teaching experience at the university level is required.
Published at least five research papers in peer-reviewed journals indexed in Scopus, Web of Science, or UGC-CARE lists. Active participation in national and international seminars, workshops, and training programs in labour law is essential. Experience in curriculum design and accreditation processes will be given preference.
