Role Summary
Jecrc University, a leading institution in Jaipur, is seeking a highly qualified and experienced PROFESSOR in Machine Design to join its faculty. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students in Machine Design.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Machine Design courses to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
- Develop and implement curriculum for Machine Design courses.
- Conduct research in Machine Design and publish papers in peer-reviewed journals.
- Guide postgraduate students in their research projects.
- Supervise dissertation work of postgraduate students.
- Participate in departmental and institutional activities.
- Maintain a high level of academic and professional standards.
- Participate in academic and research activities of the department.
Master Level Teaching
The PROFESSOR will be required to teach master level courses in Machine Design, including design of machines, kinematics and dynamics of machines, and vibration and noise control. The professor will also guide postgraduate students in their research projects and supervise their dissertation work.
Who Can Apply
The eligibility criteria for this post are as follows: PhD in Mechanical Engineering with at least 55% marks, or NET/SLET qualified in Mechanical Engineering with a good academic record, or equivalent qualifications as per UGC norms. The candidate should have a good track record of research and publications in peer-reviewed journals.
Learning and Development
For career advancement and promotion, the candidate is expected to achieve a high API score. The API score is calculated based on research publications, academic and professional contributions, and teaching and mentoring experience.
Salary and Benefits
The salary for this post is Rs.60,000 - Rs.89,000 per month, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to the salary, the university also offers allowances as per UGC norms.
