Prepare lecture notes, assignments, and evaluation sheets aligned with Jecrc University’s curriculum standards.
Evaluate student performance through continuous assessment, project reviews, and end-term examinations in manufacturing technology subjects. Mentor students in industry-oriented projects related to smart manufacturing and lean production systems. Organize industrial visits and expert lectures to bridge academic learning with real-world manufacturing practices.
Collaborate with the department to update syllabi with emerging technologies like digital twins and sustainable manufacturing. Supervise final-year projects focused on automation, quality control, and process optimization in manufacturing environments. Engage in curriculum development for new electives in advanced manufacturing and Industry 4.0.
Master Level Teaching
At the master level, deliver specialized courses such as Advanced Manufacturing Systems, CAD/CAM Integration, and Mechatronics in Manufacturing. Guide M.Tech students in thesis work on topics like predictive maintenance, robotic process automation, and digital manufacturing ecosystems.
Encourage interdisciplinary research projects combining AI, IoT, and manufacturing technologies. Facilitate collaborations with local industries in Jaipur for joint research and internship opportunities. Publish findings in peer-reviewed journals to contribute to the academic and industrial knowledge base.
Eligibility Criteria
Ph.D. in Manufacturing Technology, Production Engineering, or allied disciplines with a minimum of 55% marks from a recognized university. NET/SLET qualification is mandatory if Ph.D. is not completed, as per UGC norms for Assistant Professor eligibility.
Minimum 5 years of teaching experience in manufacturing technology at a university or deemed university level. Demonstrated research output with publications in Scopus/Web of Science indexed journals in manufacturing, automation, or related fields.
Eligibility for Associate Professor requires a Ph.D. with 10 years of teaching/research experience, including post-Ph.D. publications and academic leadership. Industry experience in manufacturing or automation will be given preference during selection.
