What You Will Do
Teach core and elective courses in Public Relations at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in Jaipur. Design syllabi that integrate case studies from Indian and global PR campaigns. Contribute to curriculum development aligned with UGC norms and industry needs in Rajasthan.
Publish original research in peer-reviewed journals indexed in Scopus or Web of Science. Present papers at national and international conferences on communication and media studies. Lead or co-author grant proposals for sponsored research projects in Public Relations.
Guide doctoral students in Public Relations as their research supervisor. Chair doctoral committees and serve on evaluation panels for Ph.D. theses. Organize workshops and seminars on emerging trends in PR and corporate communication.
Develop industry partnerships for live projects and internships for students. Mentor student PR clubs and competition teams representing Jecrc University. Represent the university at PR forums, media conclaves, and academic bodies.
Eligibility Criteria
Ph.D. in Public Relations, Mass Communication, Journalism, or allied disciplines is mandatory. Candidates with post-doctoral research or industry experience in corporate communications will be preferred. UGC-NET with JRF or equivalent qualification is required if Ph.D. is not completed.
Minimum five years of full-time teaching experience at the postgraduate level is essential. Demonstrated research output with at least five publications in Scopus/WoS indexed journals is preferred. Experience guiding M.Phil. or Ph.D. scholars in communication studies is desirable.
Research Opportunities
Jecrc University offers seed grants for exploratory research in Public Relations and digital reputation. Faculty can apply for UGC-Major Research Projects and ICSSR grants for empirical studies.
