Jecrc University invites applications for the PROFESSOR Signal Processing Vacancy in Jaipur, Rajasthan. This full-time Signal Processing Faculty Recruitment in Rajasthan is open to candidates with a PhD and five years of teaching or research experience in the domain. The role involves leading academic initiatives, mentoring students, and contributing to curriculum development in signal processing at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
Key Responsibilities
Design, deliver, and assess courses in signal processing for B.Tech, M.Tech, and PhD programs at Jecrc University. Prepare and update lecture materials, lab assignments, and project guidelines aligned with current industry standards and academic rigor. Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate projects, ensuring practical exposure in areas such as digital signal processing, image processing, and communication systems.
Teach core and elective courses including DSP algorithms, adaptive filtering, speech and audio processing, and real-time signal processing. Conduct laboratory sessions using MATLAB, Python, and industry-standard toolchains. Evaluate student performance through continuous assessment, assignments, and semester-end examinations. Mentor students in technical competitions, internships, and research publications.
Postgraduate Students
Guide M.Tech students in their dissertation work, focusing on applied signal processing in domains like biomedical imaging, radar systems, or IoT sensor networks. Encourage interdisciplinary projects with departments of Electronics, Computer Science, and AI at Jecrc University. Foster a research culture by co-authoring papers and guiding students toward peer-reviewed journal submissions.
Required Qualifications
PhD in Signal Processing, Electronics Engineering, or a closely related field with minimum 55% marks. NET/SLET qualified candidates may apply if PhD is not completed, subject to UGC eligibility. Minimum five years of full-time teaching or research experience in a recognized institution, with at least two years at the Assistant Professor level or equivalent.
Strong record of publications in peer-reviewed journals indexed in Scopus/Web of Science. Demonstrated ability to lead funded projects or industry collaborations in signal processing is desirable. Familiarity with curriculum design, NBA/NAAC accreditation processes, and outcome-based education frameworks is preferred.
