What You Will Do
Teach advanced courses in Software Engineering, including software architecture, DevOps, and cloud-native development, to undergraduate and postgraduate students. Guide students in capstone projects, internships, and research dissertations aligned with industry standards. Lead curriculum design and periodic updates to ensure alignment with emerging technologies like quantum computing and edge AI.
Oversee the academic administration of the Software Engineering department, including student assessments, faculty coordination, and accreditation compliance. Develop and maintain strong ties with technology companies in Jaipur, Gurgaon, and Bengaluru for internships, guest lectures, and sponsored projects. Mentor junior faculty and Ph.D. scholars in their research pursuits and publication goals.
Required Qualifications
A Ph.D. in Computer Science or Software Engineering from a recognized university is mandatory for this position. Candidates must have at least five years of teaching experience in Software Engineering at the university level. Industry experience in software development or IT consultancy is highly preferred and will be given additional weight.
Publications in peer-reviewed journals on topics such as software design patterns, agile methodologies, or machine learning systems are essential. Proficiency in programming languages like Python, Java, or C++ and experience with tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Jenkins are required. Familiarity with UGC norms, NAAC processes, and NBA accreditation is beneficial.
