Day-to-Day Duties

Design and deliver lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions for B.Tech and M.Tech students in Vlsi Design. Prepare detailed lesson plans aligned with Jecrc University standards and industry trends. Conduct regular assessments, including assignments, quizzes, and examinations, to evaluate student progress effectively.

Guide students in laboratory sessions covering FPGA prototyping, ASIC design flows, and EDA tool usage. Supervise minor and major projects at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Organize guest lectures and workshops with industry experts to bridge the gap between academia and practice.

Master Level Teaching

Teach advanced courses such as Advanced Vlsi Design, Low Power Vlsi, and Vlsi Testing at the M.Tech level. Mentor M.Tech scholars in thesis work, ensuring research contributions meet academic and industry standards. Encourage interdisciplinary projects that integrate Vlsi with IoT, AI, and embedded systems.

Required Qualifications

Ph.D. in Electronics and Communication Engineering or Vlsi Design with a minimum of 55% marks from a recognized university. NET/SLET qualified candidates with Ph.D. in progress will also be considered. Minimum 5 years of teaching experience at the university level with publications in peer-reviewed journals and conferences.

Active participation in sponsored research projects and consultancy assignments is preferred. Proficiency in tools like Cadence, Synopsys, Xilinx Vivado, and Mentor Graphics is essential. Familiarity with industry standards and recent advancements in Vlsi technology is a must.
