About This Role
Jecrc University is seeking a senior academician to lead the Web Development discipline in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering. Day-to-Day Duties
Teach advanced courses such as Full Stack Development, Web Security, and User Experience Design at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Contribute to curriculum design that integrates industry certifications recognized in Rajasthan’s growing IT sector. Supervise final-year projects where students build deployable web solutions for local startups under faculty mentorship.
Conduct and publish research in peer-reviewed journals indexed in Scopus or Web of Science, with preference for open-access venues in web engineering. Lead funded research projects aligned with DST or MeitY schemes relevant to Rajasthan’s digital transformation goals. Collaborate with the university’s innovation cell to file patents for novel web development tools or frameworks developed by your team.
Required Qualifications
A PhD in Computer Science with specialization in Web Technologies, Software Engineering, or a closely related field is mandatory for the PROFESSOR Web Development Vacancy in Jaipur. Candidates must hold a Master’s degree in Computer Applications, Information Technology, or Computer Science with a minimum of 58% marks from a recognized university. UGC-NET with JRF or equivalent qualification as per UGC norms is required if the PhD is not completed.
Post-doctoral research experience or industry collaborations in web development at scale will be strongly preferred. Experience guiding PhD scholars and serving on doctoral committees in Indian universities is desirable. Familiarity with funding agencies such as DST, MeitY, or CSIR is an added advantage.
Research & Publications
