PRT Dance Teacher Job in Jaipur, Rajasthan | School Recruitment
Vardhman International School invites applications for a dedicated PRT Dance Teacher to join its dynamic arts curriculum in Jaipur. This role focuses on fostering creativity and cultural appreciation through structured dance classes for students.
Responsibilities
Teach fundamental and advanced dance techniques, including classical, folk, and contemporary styles, aligning with the school’s curriculum. Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that integrate dance with academic learning, such as storytelling or rhythm-based activities. Collaborate with the arts department to organize school events, performances, and inter-school competitions, ensuring high standards of participation and creativity.
Ensure students develop proper posture, movement, and discipline while maintaining a supportive and inclusive environment. Assess student progress through continuous evaluation, providing constructive feedback to help them improve. Maintain a well-organized classroom, including dance props, costumes, and performance spaces, to support teaching activities.
Qualification
Hold a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) as a minimum requirement for teaching positions at Vardhman International School. A degree in dance or related arts is highly beneficial but not mandatory. Possess a Teaching Eligibility Test (TET) or Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) certificate is preferred for formal recognition.
Experience
A minimum of two years of teaching experience, preferably in a school setting, is essential. Experience in dance education, particularly with diverse student groups, will be an asset. Familiarity with Rajasthan’s cultural dance forms, such as Ghoomar or Kathputli, would be advantageous for integrating local heritage into lessons.
Salary and Employment
