Collaborate with fellow teachers to integrate cross‑disciplinary projects, such as literature‑based science experiments or history‑based drama.
Prepare and maintain accurate attendance records, lesson logs, and student performance reports.
Participate in faculty meetings, professional development workshops, and school events to contribute to a cohesive learning community.
Support parents during meetings and newsletters, discussing student growth and areas needing attention.
Encourage extracurricular involvement by mentoring English clubs, debate teams, and creative writing groups.
Stay updated on contemporary teaching methods, educational technology, and literary trends to continuously enhance classroom practice.
Qualification and experience
Graduate degree required, with a minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a school setting.
B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is mandatory; TET or CTET certification is preferred but not mandatory.
Strong command of the English language, both written and spoken, with a passion for literature and communication.
Demonstrated ability to create inclusive, student‑centered learning environments.
Good organizational skills and a collaborative spirit are essential for thriving in a team‑focused school culture.
Salary and location
Competitive salary range of Rs.10,000 – Rs.18,000 per month.
