Day-to-Day Duties
- Develop and implement engaging Mathematics curricula for students in grades 6-12
- Conduct regular assessments and provide constructive feedback to students and colleagues
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless curriculum integration and effective resource allocation
- Mentor and support junior staff members in their Mathematics teaching practice
- Analyze and interpret board results to inform teaching strategies and improve student outcomes
- Stay updated with curriculum reforms and pedagogical innovations in Mathematics education
- Participate in school-wide initiatives to promote academic excellence and student achievement
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
- Contribute to the development of school policies and procedures related to Mathematics education
Required Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you will require a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree from a recognized institution, with a minimum of 5 years of teaching experience. A NET or SET qualification is preferred, but not essential.
