About This Role
Dolphins High School is seeking an experienced Psychological Counsellor to join its team in Jaipur, Rajasthan. As a Psychological Counsellor, you will play a vital role in providing emotional support and guidance to students, facilitating their academic and personal growth.
Day-to-Day Duties
- Meet with students individually or in groups to understand their concerns and provide guidance.
- Develop and implement strategies to promote mental health and well-being among students.
- Collaborate with school administrators and teachers to create a supportive learning environment.
- Conduct workshops and sessions on stress management, time management, and goal setting.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and update parents as needed.
- Liaise with external agencies and organizations to provide additional support services.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for student well-being.
- Provide crisis intervention and support during difficult situations.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of counselling services and make recommendations for improvement.
Required Qualifications
Must Have:
- Postgraduate degree in Psychology or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Psychological Counsellor in a school setting.
- Strong understanding of child development and adolescent psychology.
Good to Have:
- Certification in Counselling or a related field.
- Experience working with diverse populations and cultures.
- Familiarity with Indian educational system and laws.
