Job Description
Ascent Public School in Jalore, Rajasthan, is looking for a dedicated NTT English Teacher to join their team in Sanchore, Jalore. The role focuses on delivering high-quality English language instruction to students in the school’s NTT (National Teacher Training) program, fostering both academic excellence and cultural engagement.
Responsibilities
Teach English language and literature as per the school curriculum, ensuring interactive and engaging classroom sessions. Develop lesson plans aligned with Rajasthan’s education board standards while adapting teaching methods to suit different learning levels. Act as a mentor for NTT trainees, guiding them through practical teaching techniques and classroom management skills. Participate in school events, including cultural fests and language workshops, to promote English proficiency among students. Collaborate with the school’s academic team to assess student progress and implement improvements in teaching strategies.
Qualification
A graduate degree with a minimum of two years of teaching experience in English is essential. Possession of a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is mandatory. A TET/CTET certificate is preferred but not mandatory for this position. The candidate must have a strong command of the English language, both written and spoken, with proficiency in teaching methods suitable for diverse student backgrounds.
Experience
A minimum of two years of teaching experience in English, preferably in a school environment. Experience in training or mentoring new teachers is a plus. Familiarity with Rajasthan’s education curriculum and local educational practices will be beneficial.
Salary and Employment Type
The selected candidate will be offered a full-time position with a monthly salary ranging from Rs.15,000 to Rs.20,000. The role is based in Ascent Public School’s Sanchore campus in Jalore, Rajasthan.
