About This Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated PGT Biology Teacher to join our team at Modi World School in Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan. As a PGT Biology Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching Biology to students in classes 11 and 12, and will also contribute to the development of our school's curriculum and assessment policies.
What You Will Do
- Plan, deliver, and assess Biology lessons to classes 11 and 12, using a range of teaching strategies and resources.
- Develop and implement engaging and challenging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and needs.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to help students improve their understanding of Biology concepts.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum and assessment policies.
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the development of school policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
- Monitor and report any incidents or issues related to student safety and wellbeing.
- Participate in school events and activities that promote the learning and development of students.
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for this role, you must have the following qualifications and experience:
- Master's degree in Biology or a related subject from a recognized university.
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed from a recognized university or institution.
- CTET or TET certification would be an asset but not mandatory.
- Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in a senior secondary school.
- Strong subject knowledge and teaching skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
