- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure students receive the support they need to succeed.
- Participate in school-wide initiatives and events to promote student learning and well-being, and to engage with the broader community.
- Contribute to the school's ongoing evaluation and improvement of its teaching and learning practices.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and deliver professional development opportunities for teachers and staff.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this role, you should have:
- A postgraduate degree in Sociology or a related field (MA/M.Sc/M.Com)
- A B.Ed/D.El.Ed degree with a specialization in Sociology or a related field
- A minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in a school setting
- Strong knowledge of Sociology and the ability to teach it to students in grades 9-12
- Familiarity with online teaching tools and the ability to integrate them into teaching practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
