About This Role
We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic PRT (Primary Research Teacher) to join our Computer Science department. As a PRT Computer Science Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching computer science to students from grades 1 to 5. Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging computer science lessons to students from grades 1 to 5
- Use a variety of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles and abilities
- Develop and implement assessments to evaluate student progress and understanding
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student engagement and motivation
- Collaborate with colleagues to design and implement curriculum plans
- Use digital tools and resources to enhance teaching and learning
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance
- Participate in school events and activities to promote computer science education
- Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in computer science education
Who Can Apply
To be considered for this role, you should have a strong educational background in computer science or a related field. A graduate degree in B.Ed or D.El.Ed is essential, with a preference for those with TET/CTET qualifications. You should have at least 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in a primary school setting.
