Role Summary
Modi World School leverages smart boards, Google Classroom, and an in-house LMS to blend physical and digital dance instruction. The PRT Dance Teacher will plan, deliver, and assess dance lessons for grades 1–5 using these tools. Two years of classroom experience and a graduate degree are required.
Teaching Approach
Daily lessons are planned on Google Classroom with video demonstrations and music tracks shared via LMS. Smart boards display choreography sequences and rhythm patterns for live practice. Blended learning combines in-studio sessions with online practice videos for students to review at home.
Day-to-Day Duties
Create weekly dance lesson plans aligned with the school’s LMS calendar and upload them on Google Classroom. Record short demonstration videos on smart boards for each step and post them for students before class. Prepare rhythm tracks in advance and store them on the LMS for easy access during lessons.
Conduct live online warm-up sessions on Google Meet when required by the health protocol. Assign practice drills as homework and track completion through the LMS dashboard. Organize virtual dance journals where students upload their practice videos for feedback.
Maintain attendance and participation records in the school’s ERP system after each session. Collaborate with the music teacher to curate age-appropriate tracks for each grade level.
Eligibility Criteria
Graduate in any discipline with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed from a recognized university. Two years of teaching experience in primary dance education is essential.
