The reality of this role
This is a full-time English Teacher Job in Jhunjhunu where you handle classes from Grades 1 to 5 at Sainik School Jhunjhunu. You plan daily lessons keeping in mind the age group—simple stories, poems, and basic grammar drills are the core. Discipline and punctuality matter just as much as your lesson plans.
What you will actually do
Prepare weekly lesson plans aligned with the NCERT English syllabus for primary classes.
Conduct interactive reading sessions, pronunciation drills, and writing exercises.
Set and check notebooks every week; give short written or oral feedback.
Organize class assemblies where students recite poems or short speeches.
Attend staff meetings and contribute to school events like Annual Day or Sports Day.
Maintain classroom discipline and ensure students follow school rules.
Collaborate with the English department to share resources and teaching aids.
Keep attendance registers updated and report absentees to the office.
Who can do this job
You must be a graduate with B.Ed or D.El.Ed from a recognized university.
Three years of classroom teaching experience in primary English is required.
CTET/TET is not mandatory but will be given preference.

Clear spoken English with a Rajasthani-accented pronunciation that children can follow.
Patience to repeat instructions and patience to deal with varied learning speeds.
Basic computer skills for lesson planning and digital attendance.
