Cca School integrates Python programming, Scratch animations, and Raspberry Pi projects into daily lessons. Candidates should be comfortable explaining algorithms, data structures, and cybersecurity concepts to middle-school students. The role requires adapting lessons for diverse learning paces while keeping the lab sessions hands-on.
Teaching Approach
Classes at Cca School run on smart boards with live coding demos using VS Code and Jupyter notebooks. Google Classroom is used for assignment submission and quick quizzes; an LMS tracks progress and recommends remedial content. Blended learning combines in-person labs with flipped-classroom videos created by the teacher.
What You Will Do
Design and deliver weekly Computer Science projects that align with CBSE guidelines for TGT classes. Maintain the school’s 30 Raspberry Pi 4 units and troubleshoot hardware issues during lab hours. Create step-by-step video tutorials for students who miss classes and upload them to the LMS within 24 hours.
Prepare Google Forms-based assessments with instant feedback enabled for every chapter. Run a weekly “Debugging Clinic” where students bring their own code snippets for collective problem-solving. Integrate ethical-hacking awareness modules using Kali Linux VMs in a sandboxed environment.
Collaborate with the math department to show how binary logic connects to Boolean algebra. Organize inter-house coding competitions on CodeChef and HackerRank, uploading leaderboards to the school intranet daily. Attend monthly tech-upgrade meetings to recommend new tools for the CS lab.
Required Qualifications
Post-graduate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or MCA is mandatory. B.Ed or D.El.Ed with Computer Science as a teaching subject is required; candidates without formal education degrees may still apply if they have two years of verified teaching experience in the subject. Preference will be given to applicants familiar with CBSE’s latest Computer Science syllabus for Classes 6-8.
