About This Role
At Cca School, we believe in harnessing the power of technology to enhance teaching and learning. Our English Teacher will be expected to integrate digital tools into their teaching practice, utilizing the school's modern smart boards and Google Classroom platform to create engaging and interactive lessons.
Pedagogy and Tools
Cca School is a leader in blended learning, and our English Teacher will be expected to develop and implement innovative lesson plans that incorporate online resources and multimedia content. They will also be responsible for maintaining a student-friendly learning management system (LMS) and using digital tools to track student progress.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach English to students in classes 6-12
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that incorporate online resources and multimedia content
- Utilize the school's smart boards to create interactive and visual lessons
- Use Google Classroom to create and share assignments, track student progress, and facilitate online discussions
- Develop and implement assessments to measure student understanding and progress
- Collaborate with other teachers to integrate English with other subjects
- Participate in parent-teacher conferences to discuss student progress
- Attend staff meetings and contribute to the development of curriculum and school policies
- Use digital tools to track student attendance and maintain accurate records
Who Can Apply
To be considered for this role, applicants must have a post-graduate degree in English, a B.Ed or D.El.Ed certification, and a minimum of 2 years of teaching experience. Experience with online teaching tools and digital literacy is highly preferred.
