Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced PGT Mathematics Teacher to join our faculty team at Decent School in Kota, Rajasthan. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Mathematics to students in grades 9-12 and will be expected to contribute to the development of our Mathematics curriculum.
Day-to-Day Duties
- Teach Mathematics to students in grades 9-12
- Prepare and deliver lesson plans in accordance with the school's curriculum
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Develop and implement innovative teaching methods to engage students
- Conduct regular reviews of student performance and provide progress reports to parents
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement Mathematics curriculum
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to school decision-making processes
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications and experience:
- Postgraduate degree in Mathematics or a related field
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree
- Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in Mathematics
- Strong knowledge of Mathematics curriculum and pedagogy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
Salary and Benefits
The successful candidate will be offered a competitive salary of Rs.34,000 - Rs.50,000 per month. In addition to salary, the school offers a range of benefits, including medical insurance, pension scheme, and opportunities for professional development.
