What You Will Do
As a PRT Music Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching Music to students from class 1 to 12. You will also be expected to:
* Teach Music theory and practical classes to students
* Prepare and implement Music curriculum for the school
* Conduct Music performances and events
* Mentor junior staff and provide guidance on Music teaching
* Monitor and improve Music results in board examinations
* Plan and conduct Music workshops and training sessions
* Collaborate with other departments to integrate Music in other subjects
* Develop and implement Music-related projects and initiatives
* Maintain discipline and decorum in the Music room
* Perform other duties as assigned by the Principal
Required Qualifications
To be eligible for this role, you should possess:
* A graduate degree in Music or a related field
* A B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree
* A minimum of 3 years of experience in teaching Music
* Preferably NET or SET qualified
* Strong knowledge of Music theory and practical
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work in a team and lead a team
* Strong organizational and time management skills
