Role Summary
We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Music Teacher to join our team at Decent School. As a PRT Music Teacher, you'll be responsible for teaching music to students from Class 1 to 8. Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging music lessons to students, incorporating a range of musical styles and genres
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to improve their music skills
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement the music curriculum
- Organize and participate in school music events, concerts, and performances
- Maintain a well-organized and safe music classroom environment
- Communicate effectively with parents and students to promote their musical growth
- Develop and implement music-related projects and activities to enhance student engagement
- Attend staff meetings and contribute to the overall development of the music department
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your music teaching skills
Required Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you'll need to have a Bachelor's degree in Music or a related field, along with a Diploma in Education (D.El.Ed) or a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) degree. TET/CTET certification is preferred, but not essential. As a Music Teacher, you'll have at least one year of teaching experience, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality music lessons to students.
