Regular Responsibilities Across the Academic Cycle
Develop and update lesson plans, incorporating modern teaching methods and real-world applications to make mathematics relatable. Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices in mathematics pedagogy and curriculum development. Participate in departmental meetings to discuss teaching strategies and student performance trends. Ensure regular assessment and feedback sessions, using tests, quizzes, and project-based evaluations to gauge comprehension.
Periodic Responsibilities
Attend training workshops or seminars related to mathematics education to stay updated on teaching techniques and educational trends. Organize extracurricular activities such as math competitions, workshops, or guest lectures to enrich student learning experiences. Review and update teaching resources, including textbooks, worksheets, and digital tools, to support effective instruction.
Qualification and Experience
Hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree with a postgraduate qualification in Mathematics or a related field. Possess a TET/CTET certificate as preferred, though not mandatory. Minimum two years of teaching experience in a school setting, preferably in mathematics or a similar subject. Demonstrate a strong command of the subject matter, including advanced topics, and a knack for simplifying complex concepts for students.
Salary and Location
The selected candidate will receive a competitive salary of Rs.28,000 to Rs.45,000 per month, depending on qualifications and experience.
