Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled and experienced TGT Science Teacher to join our team at Decent School. As a Science Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching Science to students in grades 6-12, designing engaging lesson plans, and assessing student progress. You will also be expected to participate in school events, collaborate with colleagues, and contribute to the development of our Science curriculum.
Key Responsibilities
1. Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons to students in grades 6-12.
2. Develop and implement Science curriculum that aligns with the CBSE board guidelines.
3. Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
4. Participate in school events, such as Science fairs and competitions.
5. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide initiatives.
6. Maintain accurate records of student progress and report to parents.
7. Stay updated with the latest developments in Science education and implement new methodologies.
8. Contribute to the development of our school's Science department.
Required Qualifications
- B.Ed/D.El.Ed in Science or related field from a recognized university.
- Post-graduate degree in Science (B.Sc., M.Sc.) from a recognized university.
- CTET/TET qualified (not mandatory).
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in a school setting.
- Strong knowledge of Science curriculum and pedagogy.
