Delhi Public World School invites a dedicated PRT to join its Art And Craft department in Kotputli Behror. This role focuses on fostering creativity and hands-on learning through engaging art and craft activities for students. The selected candidate will play a key part in shaping young minds with practical, innovative projects aligned with school curriculum standards.
Daily Responsibilities
Plan and conduct daily art and craft sessions for students, ensuring age-appropriate activities and materials are available. Demonstrate techniques and guide students through creative projects with patience and clarity. Maintain a safe and organized workspace, keeping tools and materials clean and functional. Engage students in discussions about art concepts, materials, and cultural significance during lessons.
Regular Responsibilities Across the Academic Cycle
Prepare lesson plans that integrate art and craft themes with broader academic subjects, ensuring alignment with Delhi Public World School’s educational goals. Collaborate with other teachers to incorporate art and craft activities into interdisciplinary projects and events. Assist in organizing school events such as fairs, exhibitions, and competitions where art and craft play a central role. Keep detailed records of student progress, participation, and achievements in art and craft activities.
Periodic Responsibilities
Participate in termly reviews and assessments to evaluate student performance in art and craft, providing constructive feedback. Attend professional development workshops or training sessions related to art education and teaching methodologies. Ensure compliance with school policies on safety, hygiene, and resource management in the art and craft lab.
Qualifications and Experience
Hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree with a focus on art education or a related field. Possess a graduate degree in art, design, or a relevant discipline. Two years of teaching experience, preferably in an educational setting that emphasizes hands-on learning and creativity. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory, it is highly valued for this role.
Salary and Location
The selected candidate will receive a monthly salary ranging from Rs.20,000 to Rs.35,000. The position is based in Kotputli Behror, Rajasthan, with the opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and innovative learning environment at Delhi Public World School.
