Role Summary
Bhartiya Sainik School Rajasthan invites applications for the position of Gymnastics Coach. The role focuses on planning, conducting, and supervising gymnastics training for students aged 10 to 17. Responsibilities include ensuring safety, tracking progress, and coordinating with the sports department.
Day-to-Day Duties
1. Organize and lead daily gymnastics sessions for two batches of 20 students each.
2. Design age-appropriate training plans aligned with school sports objectives.
3. Maintain equipment inventory and ensure all apparatus meets safety standards.
4. Monitor student performance and submit monthly progress reports to the sports coordinator.
5. Assist in organizing inter-house and inter-school gymnastics competitions.
6. Conduct warm-up and cool-down routines to prevent injuries during training.
7. Coordinate with physiotherapists for injury management and rehabilitation support.
8. Attend weekly meetings with the sports faculty to discuss training improvements.
Who Can Apply
Graduates in Physical Education or Sports Science are eligible to apply. A minimum of 3 years of coaching experience in gymnastics is required. Basic computer knowledge is necessary for maintaining records and submitting reports.
Preferred Skills
Experience in rhythmic or artistic gymnastics is preferred. Knowledge of first aid and injury prevention is an added advantage. Familiarity with national-level gymnastics frameworks is desirable.
