English (NTT) Vacancy in Fatehpur, Sikar, Rajasthan
CLC HIGH SCHOOL
Job Description
Role Summary
Shape the early English language journey of children from Sikar’s student community at Clc High School. The NTT English Teacher will build foundational reading, writing and speaking skills in young learners, creating a classroom environment where curiosity and confidence grow together.
Who You Will Teach
Teach English to students aged 4 to 8 years in the Nursery and Lower Kindergarten sections. These children come from diverse backgrounds across Fatehpur and nearby villages, bringing different levels of prior exposure to the language.
Key Responsibilities
Plan daily English lessons that blend storytelling, phonics, picture talk and simple writing to keep young minds engaged. Use rhymes, flashcards and digital audio clips to reinforce vocabulary and pronunciation naturally.
Assess each child’s progress through informal observations, picture-based tasks and oral feedback rather than formal tests. Share these observations with parents during casual meetings or WhatsApp groups to build trust and continuity between home and school.
Prepare teaching aids from locally available materials—colourful charts, handmade flashcards, and simple props—to make abstract letters and sounds tangible for small learners.
Maintain a tidy, alphabet-themed classroom corner where students can touch, move and revisit learning materials independently during free play.
Collaborate with the NTT team to align English activities with broader themes like festivals of Rajasthan, local flora and fauna, and daily routines so children connect language to their lived experience.
Conduct morning circle time with English greetings, songs and short conversations to build oral fluency and classroom belonging from day one.
Document anecdotal records of each child’s spoken sentences, emerging vocabulary and social interactions to inform future planning and parent communication.
Eligibility Criteria
Graduate in any discipline with a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) or Bachelor of Education (B.Ed). Prior experience teaching English to young children is preferred but not mandatory.
What Makes You a Fit
You enjoy speaking English clearly and patiently with small children, correcting pronunciation gently without discouraging their attempts. Experience in rural or semi-urban settings helps you connect lessons to local contexts like village markets, festivals and daily chores.
Familiarity with basic phonics programs and willingness to create low-cost teaching materials will help you hit the ground running at Clc High School.
Salary and Benefits
The monthly salary ranges from Rs.18,000 to Rs.34,000 based on qualifications and experience. Benefits include a clean classroom with age-appropriate furniture, access to basic teaching supplies, and a supportive NTT team that meets weekly to share ideas and resources.
