About This Role
Shekhawati International Academy, Losal invites applications for the position of PGT History Teacher in Sikar, Rajasthan. As a PGT History Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching History to students in grades 9-12. You will also be required to participate in departmental activities, attend staff meetings, and contribute to the development of the History curriculum.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver lessons to students in grades 9-12
- Assess student progress and provide feedback
- Develop and implement new History curriculum
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development
- Prepare and administer tests and exams
- Maintain accurate records of student progress
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school policies
- Participate in extracurricular activities and events
Who Can Apply
To apply for this position, you should have a postgraduate degree in History (M.A. History), with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed. A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience is required. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience working in a school environment and have a good understanding of the Rajasthan state education system.
