Job Description
Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging Chemistry lessons for classes VIII‑XII, ensuring each session aligns with the overall curriculum goals. Design formative and summative assessments, evaluate student work, and maintain detailed progress records. Prepare weekly lesson plans, incorporate practical experiments, and adjust teaching strategies based on student performance data.
Curriculum Alignment
Coordinate with senior faculty to integrate Chemistry concepts across related subjects, fostering interdisciplinary understanding. Ensure that all teaching materials reflect the standards expected by Saraswati Vidya Mandir School and support continuous improvement in learning outcomes.
Assessment Design
Create varied assessment tools, including quizzes, lab reports, and project work, to gauge comprehension and practical skills. Analyze results to identify learning gaps and provide targeted remediation. Maintain transparent grading registers for parents and school administration.
Student Progress Tracking
Monitor individual student progress through regular observations and recorded scores. Conduct periodic parent‑teacher meetings to discuss achievements and areas for improvement. Use tracking sheets to plan interventions and celebrate academic growth.
Requirements
Post‑graduate degree in Chemistry (M.Sc or equivalent) with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in a school setting. TET/CTET certification preferred but not mandatory. Strong command of English and Hindi for effective classroom communication.
Salary
Rs.22,000 - Rs.40,000 per month, payable as per school policy.
