Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement engaging lesson plans for German language instruction
- Utilize differentiated instruction to cater to diverse learning levels and abilities
- Provide one-on-one support to students who require additional assistance
- Develop and implement assessments to measure student progress
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement school-wide events and activities
- Develop and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Establish and maintain open communication with students, parents, and colleagues
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities
- Stay up-to-date with curriculum changes and new teaching methods
Required Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you will need a postgraduate degree in German or a related field. A B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. is mandatory, and a TET or CTET certification is preferred. With at least 4 years of experience in teaching German, you will have a proven track record of promoting language skills and cultural awareness in the classroom.
