Role Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced TGT Social Science Teacher to join our faculty at Sharda Gyan Peeth Senior Secondary School Rajasthan Sikar. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Social Science to students in grades 9-12, and will play a key role in shaping the academic and extracurricular lives of our students.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse learning needs of students
- Teach Social Science to students in grades 9-12, and assess their progress through regular evaluations
- Prepare and administer exams, quizzes, and other assessments to evaluate student learning
- Provide individualized support and guidance to students who require extra help or attention
- Participate in curriculum development and revision to ensure that our Social Science program meets the needs of our students
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement interdisciplinary projects and activities
- Attend staff meetings and contribute to the development of school policies and procedures
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and attendance
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge
Who Can Apply
To be considered for this role, you should have a strong academic background in Social Science, with a postgraduate degree from a recognized university. You should also have a minimum of 4 years of teaching experience, preferably in a senior secondary school setting. A B.Ed/D.El.Ed qualification is essential, and a TET/CTET certification is preferred.
