Role Summary
Shekhawati International Academy, Losal uses smart boards, Google Classroom, and a school LMS to deliver Social Science lessons that go beyond textbooks. The TGT Social Science Teacher will plan and deliver engaging classes for Classes 6 to 10 while integrating digital tools for better retention and participation. Candidates with two years of teaching experience and a postgraduate degree in Social Science are encouraged to apply.
Teaching Approach
Smart boards replace traditional chalkboards for maps, timelines, and document analysis in real time. Google Classroom assignments and quizzes allow students to submit work digitally and receive instant feedback. Blended lessons combine short videos, interactive maps, and discussion forums to keep students curious about history, geography, and civics.
Day-to-Day Duties
Prepare weekly lesson plans aligned with NCERT Social Science curriculum for Classes 6 to 10. Conduct at least two smart board–based demonstrations per week to illustrate historical events or geographical concepts. Upload supplementary notes, worksheets, and practice tests on Google Classroom every Friday. Grade assignments and quizzes online and provide detailed feedback within 48 hours. Organize monthly virtual debates on current social issues using the school’s LMS discussion boards. Lead a once-a-week social science club where students curate digital presentations on local heritage sites in Sikar district. Maintain digital attendance records and generate progress reports through the school’s ERP system. Attend bi-weekly tech training sessions to update knowledge on new educational apps.
Eligibility Criteria
Postgraduate degree in Social Science from a recognized university. B.Ed or D.El.Ed with Social Science as a teaching subject. Two years of full-time teaching experience in a school environment. Prior use of digital teaching tools is an advantage but not mandatory.
