Position Summary

Reporting and Scope
The teacher will report to the Head of Department – Arts and will be responsible for music instruction across grades V to XII.

Core Duties
- Design and implement curriculum‑aligned music lessons, including vocal, instrumental, and theory components.
- Conduct practical sessions on tabla, harmonium, and other regional instruments, integrating local cultural elements.
- Organize and supervise school concerts, cultural programs, and inter‑school music competitions.
- Assess student progress through periodic tests, projects, and performance evaluations, maintaining accurate records.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers to incorporate music into cross‑disciplinary activities and festivals celebrated in Tonk.

Qualification and Experience
- Required: B.Ed or D.El.Ed with a graduate degree in Music or related discipline.
- Preference given to candidates who have cleared TET/CTET.
- Minimum 2 years of experience teaching music in a school setting, preferably at the primary or secondary level.

Compensation and Location
- Salary: Rs.12,000 - Rs.17,000 per month.
- Location: Newai, Tonk, Rajasthan, within the campus of Vanshika Public Sr. Sec. School.
